On January 31st, 2004, the Daddy-O's concert at the Taco's Bar in Lausanne has been recorded live by the JCR Recording Service.
Songs might be used for the sampler project of rockabilly bands that play at the Taco's, to be continued....

The new Mars Attacks album has now been released on Armadillo Records...!

The first record of the Blue Lake Records' label is now out ! The new release of the Noisy Boys, What's Damn' Wrong, lets us meet with the "Rough Rockabilly Combo" again. And what a powerful style ! We couldn't have dreamed of a better start for our label. Let's meet at the Taco's Bar in Lausanne, on December 20th for the release party of the CD. Of course with the Noisy Boys live in concert! King Louis Combo records at the JCR Recording Service ! The band should sign on Blue Lake Records. So this session should give birth to the first record of this band.
This much awaited CD of the most know swiss rockabilly band would be available in the first months of 2004, to be continued...

Mars Attacks is the first band to inaugurate the new JCR Recording studio in Vevey. Two sessions took place on July for their upcoming new album on the Armadillo Records' label. It should be released at the end of the year 2003. |

The JCR studio leaves Montreux to find a new location in Vevey. Indeed, we shared the place in Montreux with two local hard rock bands and it was becoming difficult to live with them... |
As we tried to register the JCR Records label at the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry), we've been told that another german label with the same name was already registered. So we decided to create a new label with a name that represents our location: Blue Lake Records.
Many thanks to Jörg, from the Buffalos Chips, who created the new logo !
The JCR logo has been adapt and will still be used for the recording studio.
JCR Records won't be used anymore, or maybe as a secundary label...R.I.P...
